On 28 February 2015, READ to RISE hosted an Appreciation Breakfast at Southern Sun in Newlands, Cape Town. The breakfast was to thank all sponsors, volunteers and partners of READ to RISE. Thank you to the 44 individuals who attended. A big Thank You to Southern Sun for sponsoring the lovely venue and part of the food costs! Thank you to Roscoe Williams, the MC and to Taryn Lock (READ to RISE Programme Director), Athol Williams (READ to RISE Executive Director), Renee Palmer (Old Mutual Foundation) and Sharon Cloete (Volunteer reader) for saying some words. It was a lovely morning and was enjoyed by all!
