Visit to Caravelle Primary School in Rocklands, Mitchells Plain, for Old Mutual Care & Share Week.
On Thursday 19 November 2014, six Old Mutual staff members joined READ to RISE for the day to read to children in Mitchells Plain as well as to cover books in plastic.
A big Thank You to Imtithaal Dawood, Reagan Adams, Godfrey Abrahams, Colleen Piedt, Heather Wyeth and Kashiefa Adams!
We visited three Grade 2 classes at Caravelle Primary School in Rocklands and handed out 110 books.
Thank you to Old Mutual for sponsoring 80 books, 50m of plastic and 110 stationery packs. It was a great day! 91 books were covered in plastic on the day for children in Mitchells Plain.
