READ to RISE Programme Manager, Roscoe Williams and volunteer readers, Melanie Colli and Gavin Wilson visited the four Grade 2 classes at Springdale Primary School in Rocklands, Mitchells Plain on Wednesday 4 March 2015. New OAKY AND THE SUN books were given to each of the 170 Grade 2 learners. Melanie and Gavin did a great job reading to the young learners.

 

A big Thank You to Heather Wyeth from Old Mutual, who through the Staff Community Builder Programme at Old Mutual was able to sponsor four Mini-Libraries and 160 OAKY AND THE SUN books!!

 

Each Grade 2 learner also received a stationery pack and bookmark sponsored by Old Mutual.
