On Wednesday 6 November 2013, READ to RISE volunteer readers, Mike and Rene, visited the Grade 2 and 3 learners at Mandalay Primary School in Mitchells Plain. Mike told us "One teacher told me that this is only time in her class that they have all had copies of the same book.". So very sad to hear this but at the same time encouraging to know that what READ to RISE is doing is making a real difference in children's lives.
