On Thursday 11 September 2014, the READ to RISE team visited the Grade 3 class at Nokuphila School in Tembisa. A big 'Thank you' to Protea Hotel Transit OR Tambo and their representatives, Ashlyn and Tsakani, for sponsoring the new books for the 19 learners.  Ashlyn did a fantastic job reading the story of OAKY AND THE SUN to the chlidren.

 

The children were excited to get their very own copy of OAKY AND THE SUN to take home and they enjoyed singing the READ to RISE song.

 

We were fortunate to have one of our Directors, Sibongile Magwaza, join us for the session.
