On 18 July 2014, READ to RISE Prigramme Manager, Roscoe Williams, visited the Nolubabalo Educare Centre in Khayelitsha. The South African Local Government Association (SALGA) organised the event and READ to RISE was happy to be able to sponsor a Mini-LIbrary to the children at the centre as well as read to the children. Nolubabalo Educare Centre was one of the five centres which were visited on the day. The teachers and children were excited to get these much needed children's books.
