On 31 July 2015, the JHB READ to RISE team visited Parkhurst Primary School in Johannesburg and had loads of fun with the children!

 

Parkhurst Primary School is one of the schools in the Kingsmead Outreach Programme. Volunteers Tenji and Lyndsay came along to help us hand over the Mini-Libraries.

We handed over 2 Mini-Libraries (with 50 brand new books each) to the two Grade 2 classes at the school. A big Thank You to RMB Private Bank for this wonderful sponsorship during Mandela Month!

The Grade 1’s also came along and had some fun as we read OAKY AND THE SUN and sang a song together!
