On Tuesday 28 October 2014, the READ to RISE team visited Perivale Primary School in Lotus River to read with 75 Grade 2 learners at two classes. Thank you to Direct Axis for sponsoring 2 Mini-Libraries and 40 OAKY EN DIE SON books! 

 

Thank you to the READ to RISE team - Roscoe and Taryn - who did a great job. Roscoe did the first Afirkaans class and Taryn read OAKY EN DIE SON to the learners.

 

Thank you to Nooitgedacht Per, Sappi, Alpha Graphics and Shumani Mills for sponsoring the 40 OAKY AND THE SUN  for the English class.

 

The learners were so happy to get their very own copy to take home and were so grateful to see the Mini-Libraries that Direct Axis sponsored. There were many smiles! We wish Mr van Graan and his learners all the best and we hope that the learners enjoy their new books.
