    In 2013, READ to RISE visited five Primary Schools in Mitchells Plain distributing books to almost 2000 learners. Click here for more.

     

    In 2014, READ to RISE visited 23 Primary Schools in Mitchells Plains distributing 6,420 books. READ to RISE has visited one school in Gauteng - Nokuphila School - distributing new books to 60 learners. 5 Mini-Libraries have also been given to 5 Educare Centres in Khayelitsha. Two Mini-Libraries were placed at Perivale Primary School in Lotus River and 75 new books were given out. Click here for more.

     

    In 2015, we have visited all 45 Primary Schools in Mitchells Plain. As well as Perivale Primary School in Lotus River. We also visited Belthorn Primary School and Sunnyside Primary School in Lansdowne with Islamia College. Click here for more.

     

    READ to RISE started operations in JHB in 2015, we visited 10 primary schools in Soweto,  Nokuphila School in Midrand, Parkdale Primary School in Eldorado Park, Parkhurst Primary School in JHB and Olievenhoutbosch Primary School in Centurion.

     

    In 2016, we worked with 70 primary schools. We conducted 446 classroom sessions at 126 primary school visits in Mitchells Plain and Soweto. Click here for more. 

     

    In 2017, we conducted our classroom programmes in 933 classes at 185 primary school visits in Mitchells Plain, Soweto and Limpopo. Click here for more.

    In 2018, we conducted our classroom programmes in 963 classes at 200 primary school visits in Mitchells Plain, Soweto, Kromdraai and Makhado. Click here for more.

    In 2019, we will continue to focus on 45 primary schools in Mitchells Plain (CT) and 30 primary schools in Soweto (JHB). Click here for more.

    To date, READ to RISE has conducted it's classroom programme in over 3,357 classes and has given out new OAKY books to over 76,764 learners as well placed 295 Mini-Libraries in classes - totaling over 174,890 new books!
